🎨 Task and Folder Colors

Folders and tasks are now much easier to identify at a glance. AYON now pulls the colors defined in your Project Anatomy for folder and task types and applies them to their respective projects.

📦 Streamlined Project Bundles

We’ve overhauled how you manage project-specific environments. Bundle controls have been moved directly into Project Settings to simplify your workflow.

• Freeze Bundles: A new Freeze Bundles button allows you to create a unique, immutable bundle for your project.

• Active Management: Once frozen, you can manage the specific contents—including addons and dependency packages—ensuring your project's pipeline remains stable and reproducible.

📊 Table Enhancements

Managing large lists of products and tasks is now more intuitive with several improvements to the Overview and Products pages:

• Customization Panel: A new "Sort by" setting has been added to the table's Customize panel for more granular control.

• Group Sorting (⚡Power Feature): You can now specify the grouping order, ascending or descending.

Syncing has been redesigned to improve the user experience and performance, most notably with the introduction of Presenter Mode. This update ensures smoother collaboration during creative reviews, keeping everyone on the same page.

Presenters

Anyone in a review session can now take the lead. Presenting puts one person in control of the timeline, ensuring that all participants follow the same frame and sequence. While the presenter drives the session, other users aren't just passive viewers, they can still contribute by creating real-time annotations and feedback.

Auto Sync

Joining a session is now faster and more intuitive. When entering a review, users are prompted to join the sync, with Syncing set as the default choice. Once joined, you are instantly aligned with the presenter and the rest of the team, making it effortless to jump straight into the discussion.

User Management

Stay informed about who is participating in your review. You can now easily see who is currently in the session and who is synced by simply hovering over the sync button or checking the People tab. Managers and presenters have enhanced control to sync users, manage or remove presenters, identify who hasn't joined, and even remove users from the session if necessary.

Sync and Playback Performance Improvements

Sync

Multiple bugs that caused de-syncing have been resolved and optimisations have improved stability and performance for bigger sync sessions.

Playback

The loading strategy has been drastically improved to prioritise time to play. This means you can start playing the first clip sooner, whilst the remaining clips load in the background.
